The one second doesn't take into account the HOUR it takes to steam the potatoes!
More like How to peel a potato in an hour and one second.
well its faster if you need a lot of them peeled like 20. i had 7 potatoes to peel and it took about an hour and a sore hand so its good if you got lots. and like max said its an hour and 11 seconds including the ten secs in the ice water and the last to take the skin off

I'll have to give that a try. I love to have already cooked potatoes in the fridge for hash browns or potato salad. Thanks. Gave you an A+
it took you 1 hr to peel 7 potatoes? what did you use? a piece of bubble gum?
just boil the potatos with the skins on, then put them in the fridge to cool and then peel them
got a video that does it in 10 seconds :p - http://lurnto.com/?p=662
How easy! Thank you!
Great idea :)
it doesn't work.........
that was good i am going to give it a go
Hhhhmmmm? Depending on how long the potatoes are supposed to boil using my Nuwave Pro Precision Induction cooktop I could potentially get 20 potatoes done in 37 minutes 20 seconds. Not bad, it would take 15 - 20 minutes to peel and clean then 20 more to cook.
That would completely cook the potatoes. You don't have to score them either. Boil the spuds ad the peels will slip off.
